KP Caretaker Minister Advocates for PSL Matches in Peshawar During Visit to PCB Headquarters in Lahore

Lahore, In a significant development for cricket enthusiasts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the province’s Caretaker Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs, and Science and Information Technology, Dr. Najibullah Marwat, visited the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) headquarters at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The visit aimed to discuss the promotion of cricket in the province and the prospect of hosting Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in Peshawar.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the meeting between Dr. Marwat and PCB Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf was pivotal in deliberating various issues surrounding cricket in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Dr. Marwat emphasized the importance of playing cricket in the province’s grounds, which would allow local fans to witness the sport of national and international cricketers firsthand. Chairman Zaka Ashraf expressed his views on the productive meeting with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister.
