Peshawar, The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan assemblies are scheduled to convene sessions on Wednesday for the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected Members of the Provincial Assembly (MPAs). These sessions, called by the respective governors of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, mark a significant step in the democratic process following the recent elections.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly session, summoned by Governor Haji Ghulam Ali, is set to begin at 11:00 AM. This session will witness the swearing-in of the province’s newly elected representatives, initiating their terms in office.
Similarly, the Balochistan Assembly is also scheduled to hold its session on Wednesday for the oath-taking of its newly elected MPAs. These ceremonies are crucial for the commencement of the legislative duties of the new assembly members in both provinces.
