KP and Balochistan Assemblies to Hold Inaugural Sessions for New MPAs

Islamabad, The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan Assemblies are scheduled to meet on Wednesday for the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected Members of the Provincial Assembly (MPAs). This significant event marks the commencement of the tenure for the new representatives in both provincial legislatures.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, KP Governor Haji Ghulam Ali has officially summoned the KP Assembly session to take place at 11:00 am. This session will see the newly elected MPAs taking their oaths and assuming their responsibilities in the assembly. Concurrently, the Balochistan Assembly is also set to convene for a similar oath-taking ceremony for its newly elected members. This simultaneous initiation of the legislative process in both provinces underscores the ongoing democratic transition and governance at the provincial level.

The convening of these sessions is a critical step in the political process, enabling the newly elected representatives to begin their work in addressing the needs and aspirations of their constituents.
