Peshawar, Advisor to the Chief Minister on Sports and Youth Affairs, Syed Fakhr Jahan, has urged district sports officers to actively engage in promoting sports across the province. This directive was given during an introductory meeting aimed at briefing newly appointed officers on their responsibilities and the expectations set forth for their roles in developing the sports sector.
According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the meeting, which also included Secretary of Sports and Youth Affairs Mutiullah and Director General Sports Abdul Nasser, focused on setting specific goals for the officers. The Sports Advisor emphasized the importance of sports for a healthy society and outlined the government’s commitment to strengthening this sector as a national goal. He called on the sports officers to leverage their capabilities to enhance the department’s stature and ensure the active promotion of sports and healthy activities in the region.
