Peshawar, A group of scholars from various districts across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa convened with Malik Liaquat Ali Khan, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Population Welfare, at the Civil Secretariat to voice their concerns regarding tenure, salary increments, and other pressing issues.
According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the meeting served as a platform for the scholars to highlight the urgency of addressing their difficulties. The Special Assistant listened attentively to their grievances and acknowledged the government’s awareness of their challenges. He assured the delegation that all necessary resources would be mobilized promptly to address their concerns.
Malik Liaquat Ali Khan emphasized the invaluable role of scholars in guiding society and recognized their contributions as crucial to societal advancement. He also reassured them that the provincial government is currently developing a comprehensive policy to ensure their rights and privileges are protected.
The scholars expressed their gratitude towards Special Assistant Khan for his assurances and expressed hope for swift governmental action to resolve their issues.
