Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Officials Visit Peshawar Press Club, Pledge Support for Journalist Welfare

Peshawar, In a significant gesture of support for the journalist community, Syed Jabbar Shah, Secretary Information Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Muhammad Imran Khan, Director General Information and Public Relations, visited the Peshawar Press Club on Monday. The visit was marked by a meeting with Arshad Aziz Malik, the newly elected President of the Peshawar Press Club, and members of his cabinet.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the visit aimed to congratulate the newly elected president and his cabinet and to discuss various measures being undertaken by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for journalist welfare. The officials expressed hope that the new leadership of the Press Club would focus on promoting positive journalism within the province. Emphasizing the role of journalism in bridging the gap between the government and the public, they assured support for initiatives that highlight government welfare and development programs, thereby benefiting the common people.
