Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Officials Discuss Support and Education for Orphans

Peshawar, A meeting at the Chief Secretary Office in Peshawar convened yesterday, bringing together the Caretaker Minister of Information and Public Relations Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Barrister Firoz Jamal Shah Kakakhel, and other provincial officials. The discussion focused on the initiatives for supporting and educating orphans, with particular attention to the role of the SOS Village in Peshawar.

According to Directorate General Information & PRs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Chairman of the Managing Committee of SOS Village Peshawar, Justice (Rtd) Qalandar Ali Khan, detailed the organization’s efforts in aiding orphans. The Caretaker Minister emphasized the shared responsibility of supporting orphaned children and lauded the critical role of entities like the SOS Village. The meeting also touched upon the contribution of private welfare organizations in this domain. Additionally, Advocate General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Aamir Javed, discussed legal matters pertinent to the province’s efforts in supporting vulnerable children.
