Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Minister Conducts Surprise Inspection at Buner Dagar Hospital

Peshawar, In an unannounced visit, Health Minister Syed Qasim Ali Shah, accompanied by Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Syed Fakhar Jahan, inspected the District Headquarters Hospital Dagar Buner today. The visit focused on evaluating the operational and administrative aspects of the hospital, including outpatient and emergency services.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, during his visit, Minister Shah met with patients to assess the quality of care and facilities provided. The hospital’s Medical Superintendent briefed him on the services available and the ongoing challenges faced by the institution. Minister Shah emphasized the provincial government’s commitment to enhancing healthcare services across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stating that timely access to medical treatment is a priority.

He also highlighted that the provincial budget has allocated over 10 billion rupees for medicines, ensuring free medication to the populace. Minister Shah vowed to continue surprise visits to ensure that healthcare facilities meet the required standards and warned that negligence in public service delivery would not be tolerated.
