Peshawar, In an effort to ensure the provision of quality food items to the residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Minister for Food Zahir Shah Toro has emphasized the importance of completing departmental projects promptly and transparently. He conveyed this commitment during a review meeting with food department officials, focusing on the need for efficiency and integrity in project execution.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Minister Toro, during the meeting, urged the food department’s officials to avoid unnecessary delays in ongoing projects and to maintain transparency in all operations. He highlighted that the projects are aimed at benefiting the provincial population and should be managed with the utmost responsibility, given they are funded by public taxes.

The Minister also addressed concerns related to market manipulation, stating that artificial inflation and the adulteration mafia would not be tolerated. He instructed officials to actively monitor and provide relief to the public from such malpractices. Toro encouraged the department’s employees to work diligently and collaboratively to improve the overall functioning of government initiatives.

The meeting underscored the provincial government’s commitment to using its resources effectively to better the lives of its citizens and to ensuring that food department projects are implemented without corruption or delay.
