Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Minister Vows No Tolerance for Corruption, Emphasizes Public Service Improvements

Peshawar, Nazir Ahmad Abbasi, the Provincial Minister of Finance for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, declared a stringent stance against corruption, coupled with commitments to enhance public services and accessibility. His remarks were made during a series of meetings with delegations from Abbottabad, where he addressed local issues and the government’s initiatives to alleviate them.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Minister Abbasi emphasized the provincial government’s efforts under the leadership of Chief Minister Ali Amin and the vision of PTI founder Imran Khan, to improve the efficiency of service delivery centers and solve problems at the community level. He underscored that solving public issues remains a top priority for the government, which is committed to reforms and welfare in various sectors.

During the discussions, Abbasi also highlighted recent initiatives such as the distribution of Ramadan and Eid packages to aid the needy and the extension of health care coverage to 100% of the population, ensuring broad access to medical services. Moreover, he ordered the construction of additional counters at service delivery centers in high-demand districts to reduce wait times and enhance citizen experiences.
