Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Minister Orders Timely Completion of School Projects

Peshawar, The provincial Minister for Primary and Secondary Education, Faisal Khan Tarkai, has mandated the expedited completion of ongoing educational development projects to address student needs promptly. This directive aims to ensure the timely resolution of issues within the education sector and facilitate the advancement of priority projects.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Minister Tarkai emphasized the significance of adhering to schedules for both current and upcoming projects during the development budget meeting of the Education Department. The gathering, attended by Secretary Education Masood Ahmed and various department officials, focused on enhancing the pace and efficiency of the 107 educational initiatives underway. These projects, distributed across planned and merged districts, include the establishment of IT and science laboratories, construction and modernization of schools, and the introduction of solar energy solutions, among others.

The ministry’s commitment to prioritizing education reflects in the allocation of substantial funds toward infrastructure and resource improvements in schools, echoing the efforts of previous administrations. With an emphasis on reducing dropout rates and elevating educational standards, Minister Tarkai reaffirmed the province’s dedication to utilizing education as a primary developmental tool, particularly in underprivileged areas.
