Karachi, Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry, conducted a meeting with officers under training from the Pakistan Administrative Service at the Chief Secretary Conference Room in Peshawar. This gathering, which included high-ranking officials such as the Secretary of Establishment, Secretary of Planning & Development, and a Member of the Board of Revenue, focused on the essential role and responsibilities of civil officers in public service.
According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chief Secretary Chaudhry emphasized the crucial function of civil service as the backbone of state machinery. He urged the officers to efficiently perform their duties and utilize their skills and professional training to provide the best services to the public. Chaudhry stressed that serving in the civil service is both an honor and a responsibility. He highlighted the importance of their training, which is designed to prepare them to handle future responsibilities effectively, ensuring the best interests of the country and its people are served.
Chaudhry also discussed the vital task of conducting clean and transparent elections, affirming that all available resources would be utilized to achieve this goal. The meeting concluded with the participants expressing gratitude to the Chief Secretary for his guidance on enhancing rural service delivery. They pledged to use all their energies to fulfill their responsibilities to the best of their abilities.
