Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Announces Police Recruitment for Children of Special Forces Martyrs

Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has declared a new initiative to recruit the children of former Special Forces martyrs into the regional police force, emphasizing the government’s commitment to fulfill promises to the merged districts.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the announcement came during a meeting with a multi-member tribal jirga from Khyber district at the Chief Minister’s House. The meeting addressed various local issues and the development plans for the merged districts, which have been significantly impacted by terrorism. The Chief Minister pledged to equate these districts with more developed areas of the province in line with Imran Khan’s vision.

The recruitment initiative is part of a broader strategy to address unemployment and enhance local services, including health and education. The provincial government also plans to provide interest-free loans to help local youth start businesses and has allocated additional funds for development projects beyond the initially promised amounts. Chief Minister Gandapur urged local residents to monitor the quality of development projects actively and participate in governance by helping eliminate corruption and drug issues in the region.

The meeting also covered the upcoming changes in mining policies to ensure local communities benefit from natural resource exploitation. This comprehensive development strategy aims to stabilize the region and promote prosperity through increased security and equitable distribution of resources.
