Peshawar, At just 12 years old, Ayesha Ayaz, Pakistan’s youngest taekwondo gold medalist, was honored in a meeting with Syed Fakhr Jahan, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sports and Youth Affairs. Ayaz, who has secured a remarkable tally of 7 medals, including 2 golds, and over 100 national and international awards, was recognized for her exceptional contributions to sports in the province.
According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, during the meeting, Director General of Sports Abdul Nasir was also present, and a financial reward was extended to Ayaz for her achievements. The advisor praised Ayaz’s accomplishments and assured continued support from the provincial government for athletes like her who elevate the region’s reputation. The young athlete’s ongoing success and potential were celebrated as exemplary for the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
