Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Chief Minister Meets with Peshawar Press Club Delegation

Peshawar, In a significant meeting at the Chief Minister House, the Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Justice Retired Syed Arshad Hussain Shah, engaged with a delegation from the Peshawar Press Club, led by its President, Arshad Aziz Malik.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the meeting, which also included Provincial Caretaker Minister Barrister Feroze Jamal Shah Kakakhel, Caretaker Chief Minister’s Spokesperson Brigadier (Rtd) Syed Jabbar Shah, Information Secretary Syed Jabbar Shah, Director General Information Muhammad Imran, and other officials, resulted in the Chief Minister handing over a special grant check to the Press Club. This gesture followed an earlier announcement by Chief Minister Shah during his visit to the Press Club.

During the discussion, Chief Minister Shah emphasized the “Khushal Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” program as a welfare initiative for the people of the province, highlighting the media’s crucial role in its implementation. He stressed the importance of media feedback for the program’s success and assured improvements based on such insights.

The Chief Minister acknowledged the significance of the media in contemporary times, placing the welfare and resolution of journalists’ issues as government priorities. Additionally, he assured that efforts to complete the solarization project of the Peshawar Press Club will be expedited, with a commitment to provide necessary funds for its timely completion.

Peshawar Press Club President Arshad Aziz Malik expressed gratitude towards the Chief Minister for the meeting and his interest in addressing the Club’s concerns.
