Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cabinet Approves New Housing Allowances and Funds for Tribal Districts


Peshawar, The fifth meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur, took place in Islamabad, focusing on important housing allowances for ministers and allocating funds for administrative enhancements in tribal districts.



According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Cabinet decided to provide housing allowances up to Rs. 200,000, covering rent and utilities for ministers without official residences in Peshawar. The meeting also approved a budget of 503 million rupees for deputy commissioners in the merged districts over the next three years, with a commitment to transparency and regular audits. Additional funds were directed to finalize budget proposals for the next financial year, ensuring administrative continuity and addressing the needs of the tribal regions.
