Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Authorities to Take Legal Action Against Illegal Residents in Kohat Labor Colonies

Peshawar, The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Labor Minister, Fazal Shakoor Khan, has ordered immediate legal measures against the illegal occupants of labor colonies in Kohat, directing a clean-up of the quarters to ensure they are allocated to deserving workers based on merit and transparency. This directive was issued during a detailed meeting addressing the occupancy issues in these colonies.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Minister Khan emphasized the necessity of biometric attendance to improve accountability among colony staff. He highlighted that the quarters are meant for factory workers and should not be misused by unauthorized residents. The ongoing efforts to vacate and reallocate these quarters were discussed, with assurances that the rights of legitimate workers would be strictly protected and prioritized.
