According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, during an introductory meeting with the department’s officers and district directors, Yousafzai announced several critical changes. Notably, he mandated that no officer or official should be stationed in one position for more than three years, necessitating transfers for those who have exceeded this tenure. Emphasizing the need for daily updates on the Ramadan Dastar Khan initiative, he insisted on zero tolerance for negligence in this program and urged for the accelerated inclusion of impoverished widows in the Ramadan relief efforts.

Yousafzai’s directives also focused on improving conditions at Darlaman and identifying areas requiring the Zamong Kor project’s implementation. A significant emphasis was placed on collaborating with the police and other agencies to intensify the campaign against drug abuse. Furthermore, the adviser prioritized the mobilization of resources for the Special Education Institute, including arranging transportation for children and relocating the Zamong Kor Peshawar Girls Campus to a better facility.

Addressing issues faced by women and special children, Yousafzai directed the district directors to take immediate action wherever necessary, highlighting the importance of integrating needy widows into the Ramadan relief package and conducting thorough surveys to ascertain the precise number of special needs children in each district. These measures aim to tailor the establishment of new special education institutions accordingly.
