Khuzdar: The death toll from a terrorist attack on a school bus in Khuzdar has increased to eight, as two more students succumbed to their injuries. The attack, which occurred recently, initially claimed the lives of three students, with five others critically injured.
The students who lost their lives on the day of the attack were identified as Sania Soomro, Hifsa Kausar, and Esha Saleem. In the days following the incident, three more students, Sahar Saleem, Malaika, and Haider, died while undergoing medical treatment.
The latest casualties, Sheema Ibrahim and Muskan, passed away as a result of their injuries, bringing the total number of deceased children to eight.
Security sources have attributed the attack to “Fitna-al-Hindustan,” an alleged India-sponsored terrorism effort in Pakistan. They assert that the attack was orchestrated in India and have vowed that the perpetrators will be held accountable.
The incident has sparked outrage and grief across the region, with calls for justice for the victims and their families. Authorities have assured that measures are being taken to prevent such attacks in the future and to bring those responsible to justice.
