Khanna Police Nab Notorious Offender in Major Operation


Khanna: In a significant breakthrough, Khanna police have apprehended Nabeel Hussain, a proclaimed offender sought for murder, police resistance, and robbery. The arrest was part of a major operation carried out by a police team, marking a significant step in the fight against crime in the region.



The suspect was wanted by multiple police stations, including Khanna, Margalla, and Lohi Bher. Authorities reported recovering a weapon and ammunition from Hussain, believed to be used in several criminal activities. Investigations are currently ongoing to further unravel the extent of his criminal undertakings.



Deputy Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Muhammad Jowad Tariq, reiterated the commitment of the Islamabad Police to combat crime vigorously. He stated that operations are being conducted indiscriminately to address crime, violence, and murder, and assured that offenders would face strict legal consequences, grounded in solid evidence.



Tariq also highlighted the importance of community cooperation, urging citizens to report any suspicious activities to the police or through the emergency helpline “Pucar-15.” The collaboration between law enforcement and the public is deemed essential in creating a safer environment and reducing crime in society.
