Islamabad: In the recent technical evaluation for the supply of eighteen paper shredder machines, KBS Enterprises, Islamabad, has emerged as the successful bidder, meeting all specified technical criteria set by the Supreme Court of Pakistan. On the other hand, Nedo Corporation, also based in Islamabad, failed to meet the necessary specifications, disqualifying their bid.
According to Supreme Court of Pakistan, the bid by KBS Enterprises aligned perfectly with the tender document requirements, including the stipulated paper cut size of “2.5 x 9 mm” and the security level “P5”. In contrast, Nedo Corporation’s proposal featured the Eclipse EP-12C model, which only offered a paper cut size of “4 x 15 mm” and a lower security level of “P4”, failing to meet the rigorous standards required for the judiciary’s operations.
The technical assessment highlighted the importance of precise specifications for security equipment within judicial operations, underlining the Supreme Court’s commitment to maintaining high standards of data protection and confidentiality.
