Kashmiris to continue struggle till complete success: JKPRM

Srinagar, October 20, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Political Resistance Movement (JKPRM) has said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have been engaged in a peaceful struggle to secure their inalienable right to self-determination for the past several decades and will continue their righteous movement till complete success.

The JKPRM General Secretary, Dr Musaib Ahmad, addressing a party meeting in Baramulla said that several countries achieved their freedom during last 73 year but India’s military and rigid policy remained a stumbling block in the resolution of the lingering Kashmir dispute.

He said India through its military aggression had illegally occupied the territory of Jammu and Kashmir in 1947 and also illegal and undemocratic way violated the international laws on 5 August 2019. He added that the whole Jammu and Kashmir under the worst military siege has been converted into the worst jail.

The speakers in the meeting while paying rich tributes to the youth recently martyred by Indian troops during cordon and search operations in Srinagar, Shopian, Pulwama and Islamabad areas termed the present situation in IIOJK as the most dangerous and critical. They added that the resistance moment remains indebted to the innumerable sacrifices rendered by the people of Kashmir.

They also expressed grave concern over the plight of the Kashmiri people in general and the illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists including APHC Chairman Masarrat Aalam Butt, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Dr Fayaz Hameed, Aasiya Andrabi, Naheeda Nasreen, Fehmeeda Sofi, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Altaf Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Ayaz Akbar, Merajuddin Kalwal, Pir Saifullah, Shahid-ul-Islam, Farooq Ahmad Dar, Syed Shahid Yousuf and Syed Shakeel Yousuf languishing in jails of India and in IIOJK for the last several years.
