Srinagar, July 31, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi, Abdul Samad Inqilabi has said that Kashmiris have not accepted the illegal and unilateral Indian moves of August 5, 2019 and they will continue their freedom struggle till complete success.
Abdul Samad Inqilabi in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India claims to be the world’s largest democracy but on August 5, 2019, it repealed special status of IIOJK and imposed military siege in the territory. He added that the illegal decision of the Indian parliament was not acceptable to the people of Kashmir.
Abdul Samad Inqilabi deplored that the Indian government had increased its oppression in the occupied territory after August 5, 2019 and has deprived the Kashmiris of all their basic rights. He said the Modi government is also granting domiciles to lakhs of Indian citizens for settling them in IIOJK to change the Muslim majority status of the territory into a minority.
Abdul Samad Inqilabi said that the Kashmiri people will observe complete shutdown on August 5 against India’s illegal and unilateral measures in the territory. He appealed to the United Nations to play role in settling the dispute according to its own resolutions so that permanent peace could be established in South Asia.
