Kashmiris and Pakistanis in UK Rally in Solidarity with Palestine

LONDON, In a massive show of support for the Palestinian cause, hundreds of thousands of Kashmiris and Pakistanis participated in rallies across the UK, calling for an end to the occupation and expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people who are enduring hostilities from Israel.

According to a news release by Kashmir Media Service, the streets of London witnessed an impressive gathering of over 100,000 demonstrators marching against the Israeli occupation and in favor of Palestinian rights. The demonstrators, draped in Palestinian flags and chanting pro-Palestine slogans, implored both the British government and the broader international community to intervene and halt the ongoing Israeli actions in Gaza.

A significant number of the participants were Kashmiris and Pakistanis, reinforcing their unwavering support for the Palestinian cause. In Birmingham, the demonstration was spearheaded by Fahim Kayani, the president of Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK, alongside other notable Pakistani and Kashmiri leaders. Thousands flocked to Birmingham, joining in a unified call of support for the Palestinian people.

Kayani strongly voiced his support, stating, “Kashmiris back the Palestinians, come whatsoever.” He conveyed his distress over the devastating visuals emerging from Gaza and emphasized the importance of resisting the aggression. Kayani underscored the crux of the issue, pinpointing the root cause as the “illegal occupation of Palestine.”
