Srinagar: In a disturbing incident, the body of a Kashmiri truck driver was found in Mizoram under suspicious circumstances. The deceased, identified as Rafiq Ahmed from Chitrakot Karnah in Kupwara district, was discovered in the Kala Sab district of Mizoram.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Rafiq’s body showed signs of severe injuries, including blood clots on his head and deep wounds, suggesting foul play. A video that surfaced on social media depicted the gruesome scene, adding to the family’s suspicions that he was murdered and his body discarded in a car.

The family reported receiving a distressing phone call from another driver in Mizoram, who claimed that Rafiq was killed by some locals. This tragic event has left Rafiq’s family and the local community in shock. They are now demanding a swift and comprehensive investigation to determine the cause of his death and to bring those responsible to justice.
