Srinagar: Indian police have detained a Kashmiri student for posting on his social media handles in the district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the student has been identified as Bhat Navidul Ali, a resident of Tazipora-Mohammadpora area of Kulgam district, who is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Lab Sciences.
The Indian police spokesperson alleged that Ali was spreading a pro-freedom and anti-India narrative through his social media platforms. The law enforcement official confirmed that Ali has been detained for questioning in connection with the posts.
