London: The President of Tehreek-e-Kashmir, UK, Muhammad Fahim Kayani, has emphasized the ongoing struggle of the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination, stating that they have yet to achieve their rights.
According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, Kayani announced that a conference will be organized by human rights activists in the House of Commons. The aim of the event is to bring attention to the situation faced by the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Kayani expressed concern over human rights violations allegedly committed by India in the region. He stated that thousands of Kashmiris have been arrested under oppressive laws, with many facing charges based on what he described as false allegations.
