Srinagar: Puppet chief minister of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has categorically stated that Kashmiri people have not accepted the revocation of Article 370.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Omar Abdullah, in an address to the IIOJK assembly, stated, “The reality is that the people of J and K have not endorsed the decision of August 5, 2019.”
In his concluding remarks, Abdullah took a direct stance on the broader sentiment within the assembly regarding the August 5 decision. He emphasized that the assembly reflects the aspirations of the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Abdullah remarked that had the decision been accepted by the people, the political landscape and election outcomes would have been significantly different. He pointed out that even some members of the treasury benches have not accepted the decision.
Omar Abdullah’s address highlighted the unchanged sentiment of the Kashmiri populace regarding the abrogation of Article 370. He reiterated that the lack of endorsement for the decision is evident in the unchanged political dynamics of the region.
