Kashmiri Leader Affirms Commitment to Self-Determination Amid Challenges

Jammu: Muhammad Aqib, Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir People’s Association in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, has asserted that Kashmiris remain committed to their struggle for self-determination despite ongoing challenges.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Aqib issued a statement in Jammu highlighting the continuous issues of killings, arrests, and violence in the region. He expressed that these acts could not suppress the voice of the Kashmiri people, who are steadfast in their quest for freedom from Indian rule.

Aqib criticized the Modi government’s policies, stating that they could not diminish the freedom sentiment among the Kashmiri populace. He emphasized that the Kashmiris see their struggle as the only viable path forward.

Further, Aqib called on the United Nations to intervene and support the resolution of the Kashmir dispute in line with UN resolutions, reflecting the will of the Kashmiri people.
