Jammu, February 22, 2023 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a Kashmiri driver was assaulted by unidentified goons in the Udhampur district. A driver identified as Mohammed Ishaq Kholi was assaulted by goons for unknown reasons in the Mansar area of the district. The goons who were in a four-wheeler stopped their vehicle and stopped Ishaq’s vehicle that was on the way from Jammu-Srinagar and forced Ishaq to get out of the truck. “Before Ishaq could even say a word, they hit his head with a bottle of alcohol they were drinking and later assaulted him, his brother told media men.

Ishaq was rescued by other Kashmiri drivers only after the attackers had escaped from the spot. “He has received injuries on his head and is being taken to the hospital,” his brother added. Meanwhile, several Kashmiri drivers have reached the spot and held protest against the culprits and demanded immediate action.
