Kashmir Walla editor’s remand extended by 7 days 

Srinagar, February 14, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a court in Pulwama on Monday extended the remand of senior journalist Fahad Shah for a week. Earlier, on February 5, he was remanded for 10 days. Indian police arrested Fahad Shah on February 04 on the charges of posting anti-India content on social media. Police claimed that he had been identified among some Facebook users and [news] portals that had published anti-India content, but did not mention any specific content.

Fahad Shah, Editor-in-Chief of The Kashmir Walla, was produced before the Court of Mobile Magistrate by Pulwama Police. The court remanded him to police custody for a week till February 21. Defence lawyer, Umair Ronga, talking to reporters said despite court directions, police didn’t file any report.
