Kashmir Solidarity Rally Calls for Global Recognition of Kashmiri Struggles

Islamabad: Mushaal Malik, the wife of jailed Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik and Chairperson of the Peace and Culture Organization, has called on the international community to recognize the sacrifices made by the Kashmiri people in their quest for freedom from Indian control.

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, Malik made her appeal while leading a Kashmir Solidarity rally at Express Chowk in Islamabad. The rally saw participation from a broad spectrum of civil society members, students, and citizens, who waved both Pakistani and Kashmiri flags in a show of unity and support.

During her address, Mushaal Malik paid homage to the resilience of the Kashmiri people, condemning what she termed as India’s ongoing genocide against Kashmiris. She noted that despite the oppression faced by those who speak out for Kashmir, the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs have only strengthened the resolve of the community.

Malik also accused the Indian government of unlawfully seizing homes in Kashmir and called for international intervention against these actions. She questioned the United Nations’ inaction in holding India accountable and demanded the release of innocent Kashmiris detained in the territory.

Emphasizing the courage of the Kashmiri people, Malik urged the global community to support truth and justice, appealing for a stand in the name of humanity.
