Kashmir Protests: Innocent Lives Lost in Each Demonstration, Says Pakistani Official

Islamabad: Participating in a Kashmir Solidarity Walk organized by Waqar un Nisa College in Rawalpindi, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry, Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, highlighted the severe human rights situation in Occupied Kashmir. Addressing the event, he asserted that during every protest in the region, 8 to 10 innocent individuals are martyred.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, Barrister Danyal, alongside Member of the National Assembly Hanif Abbasi, condemned the international community’s silence on the issue. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to supporting the Kashmiri struggle for self-determination, emphasizing that the country’s solidarity with Kashmiris is a national, moral, and humanitarian duty.

Barrister Danyal called for immediate global action against the oppression in Kashmir, insisting that Pakistan will continue to advocate for Kashmiri rights on international platforms. He concluded by affirming Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Kashmiri people’s quest for freedom, asserting that their resilience will not be subdued by force.
