Srinagar: is currently experiencing sub-zero temperatures in various locations throughout Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The Kashmir Media Service reports that five Kashmir stations, including Islamabad, Pulwama, Shopian, Budgam, and Bandipora, have recorded temperatures below freezing.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, In Islamabad, temperatures dipped to a low of minus 1.6 degrees Celsius, while Pulwama experienced a slightly colder minus 2.0 degrees Celsius. Shopian recorded the coldest temperature in the region at minus 3.6 degrees Celsius.
Data also indicates that Budgam faced a chilly minus 1.0 degree Celsius, and Bandipora in north Kashmir saw a minimum temperature of minus 0.1 degree Celsius.
Srinagar and Qazigund both recorded a freezing point temperature of 0.0 degrees Celsius last night. Additionally, Kulgam and Baramulla stations noted minimum temperatures of 0.2 degrees Celsius and 0.6 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Faizan Arif Keng, an Independent Weather Forecaster, informed the media about the influence of a weak Western Disturbance on Jammu & Kashmir today. However, he noted that its impact would be minimal. He forecasts a rise in minimum temperatures over the next two days, along with expectations of sunny weather continuing into the following week.
