Kashmir dispute needs immediate resolution Prof Butt

Srinagar, June 29, 2023 (PPI-OT): All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) senior leader Professor Abdul Ghani Butt has said that the unresolved Kashmir dispute is the main reason for strained relations between Pakistan and India, which needs to be resolved immediately. Prof Abdul Ghani Butt addressing the Eid prayer gathering in Watlab area of Sopore, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, today, said that Abu Lahab represented evil and wrong which ultimately lost to justice. He said that the evil had to go, which will never prevail despite the power and violence. This is history, he added.

He said that the philosophy of Eid is prudence and restraint and the Muslim Ummah must follow the teachings and philosophy of Eid-ul-Adha. He said that oppression will eventually end and justice must prevail in all situations. Professor Butt said the only way out of difficulties and problems is patience and perseverance. He said, “Kashmiris are facing the worst period of our history but this dark period will never remain and we will come out of it.”

APHC senior leader said, “We want the welfare of humanity, we want the people of Pakistan and India to be prosperous with peace and dignity, but for this, the leadership of Pakistan and India will have to come forward with determination.” Meanwhile, APHC leader Molvi Mir Ghulam Hassan addressing an Eid gathering in Bomia, Sopore, expressed serious concern over the situation of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and urged UN to come forward and resolve the lingering Kashmir dispute as per the United Nations resolutions and wishes of the oppressed people of the territory.
