Lahore, July 12, 2021 (PPI-OT):Mushaal Hussein Mullick, the Chairperson of Peace and Culture Organisation and wife of jailed Kashmiri Hurriyat leader, Muhammad Yasin Malik, has said that Kashmir Council will be formed to fight the Kashmir case at international level affectively. Mushaal Hussein Mullick speaking to media along with President of Lahore High Court Bar Association in Lahore on Monday, said that soon the council would be constituted in association with the Lahore Bar.
She vowed that Kashmiri people would fight the Kashmir case together with lawyers at the international stage vigorously. She said that the Indian forces had unleashed a wave of barbarism and terrorism to silence the voices of freedom fighters. She deplored that the forces were using all brutal means against Yasin Malik despite his fast deteriorating health condition.
Mushaal said that the sole of crime of Yasin Malik was to raise the voice for the birthright to to self-determination of Kashmiri people. However, she vowed that Modi-led fascist Indian government and its brutal forces should bear in mind that neither they could silence Yasin Malik nor Kashmir people till materializing the dream of right to self-determination. She went on to say that Kashmiri people would fight Kashmir case through legal means and no power could deprive them of their long-denied freedom for long time.
She said that Indian was changing the demography of the occupied territory illegally by bringing Hindu settlers to the occupied territory. She added that the proportion of IIOJK population was being changed in sheer violation of international law and the UN resolutions but even then the world community was looking the situation like a silent spectator. Mushaal stated that the Indian Army was committing serious human rights violations in the territory and had made the life of the dwellers a hell. However, she lamented that the United Nations observed criminal silence over the Indian unabated barbarism and atrocities.
She termed India as a terrorist country, which is not only committing genocide of Kashmiris but also involved in sending weapons to Afghanistan to create unrest in the region. She said that the Indian forces are the enemy of humanity, who are thirsty of Kashmiri blood; however, she vowed that Kashmiri people could not be deterred through military might. She demanded of the UN, world powers and human rights organizations to fulfill and honour their promises made with the people of Kashmiri to let them live a life as per their free will.
