Kashmir Council EU Chairman Calls for Peaceful Resolution to AJK Protests


Brussels, In response to ongoing protests in Azad Jammu and Kashmir over rising prices, Ali Raza Syed, Chairman of the Kashmir Council EU, has issued a call for peaceful resolution between authorities and protesters, warning of potential exploitation by external forces.



According to Kashmir Media Service, Ali Raza Syed expressed concerns over the potential for these protests to be used by adversaries, particularly India, to undermine the freedom struggle in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. From Brussels, Syed stressed the importance of dialogue and non-violence in addressing the issues faced by the residents of AJK. He emphasized that maintaining peace is crucial to preventing any escalation of tensions and thwarting attempts by opponents to distort the situation.



Syed also urged the AJK government to proactively address the grievances of the protesters, advocating for a constructive approach to resolve the crisis without resorting to violence. He highlighted the sacrifices made by the people of Azad Kashmir in their defense and development efforts for Pakistan, underscoring the need for unity and peaceful negotiations during these challenging times.
