Srinagar, September 13, 2023 (PPI-OT): Senior leader of Indian National Congress in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tariq Hameed Karra, has slammed the Narendra Modi-led Indian government for relaxing the import duty on the US apples.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Tariq Hameed Karra in a statement in Srinagar said, apple farmers in occupied Kashmir like any other sector have suffered a lot under the indifferent Indian government of BJP. He said the Modi regime has remained anti-small business, anti-farmers and works totally in the interest of crony capitalists by ignoring the common populace of the occupied territory.
Karra, who was a former puppet finance minister of IIOJK, said the import of apples from the foreign countries will further deteriorate the economic situation of the local apple growers of the occupied region.
