Karachi World Culture Festival Highlights Pakistan’s Global Image, Says Governor

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori stated that the World Culture Festival, organized by the Art Council of Pakistan, plays a significant role in portraying a positive image of Pakistan internationally. The festival, which showcases diverse cultural performances, was praised by the governor during his attendance.

According to Sindh Governor House, the governor commended the efforts of the organizers and the Arts Council management for successfully hosting the 38-day cultural festival. Governor Tesori highlighted the importance of such events in reviving the cultural vibrancy of Karachi, often referred to as Shahr Quaid. He acknowledged the commendable performances by German artists at the festival and emphasized that events like these can counteract the negative perceptions created by hostile elements, thereby revealing the true image of Pakistan to the world.

During his address, Governor Tesori also mentioned the efforts of Prime Minister and Army Chief Syed Asim Munir in working tirelessly towards economic stability in the country. The ceremony concluded with the governor presenting a shield and a bouquet to German Consul General Rudiger Lotz, as a gesture of appreciation.
