Karachi, In an effort to intensify animal vaccination efforts across Sindh, Advisor to the Chief Minister on Livestock, Fisheries, and Human Settlement, Syed Najmi Alam, has issued a directive to accelerate the vaccination process. The directive was announced during a crucial meeting focusing on the availability and administration of animal vaccines within the province.
According to Chief Minister Sindh, the meeting saw key discussions on both locally produced and imported vaccines, reflecting a comprehensive approach to enhancing animal health statewide. Participants included Secretary of Livestock and Fisheries Dr. Kazim Hussain Jatoi and other high-ranking officials such as Dr. Nazir Hussain Kalhodom, Director General of Sindh Institute of Animal Health, alongside directors from various relevant departments.
Advisor Alam emphasized the importance of prioritizing vaccination over treatment, indicating that no compromises would be tolerated in the execution of this policy. He also mandated monthly reporting by the concerned officers to ensure transparency and accountability in the implementation of the new vaccination strategy.
