Karachi, A substantial turnout of residents visited Karachi Zoo, Safari Park, and Landhi Korangi Zoo during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, where they enjoyed a range of modern amenities provided by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC).
According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, visitors praised the efforts of Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab for his initiatives to enhance and activate the city’s entertainment venues. The enhancements included the introduction of new attractions such as playland facilities and new animals at the Karachi Zoo, which attracted significant attention, especially the newly arrived pairs of puma lions. Safety and enjoyment were ensured by the presence of city wardens and police throughout the holiday period.
Safari Park also saw extensive upgrades under the direction of Mayor Wahab before Ramadan, including improvements to roads, restaurants, and the addition of new attractions such as a cowboy cafe, dino park, zip line, and a shooting range. These additions allowed thousands of citizens, including women and children, to engage in activities previously considered exclusive to the elite, such as horse riding and target shooting.
Additionally, the establishment of two new restaurants and various entertainment facilities contributed to a vibrant atmosphere at the Safari Park. In Landhi Korangi Zoo, children interacted closely with the animals, taking selfies and enjoying food and drinks from various stalls. New species of birds and animals were also introduced here, receiving a warm reception from the visitors.
