According to Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation, a resident of North Karachi Sector 5E had used KWSC’s new social media platform to request coverage for open manholes. However, the comment section was subsequently removed, and the resident’s complaints were deleted. The resident criticized the performance of the KWSC’s CEO and other local officials, noting that the pressing issue of uncovered manholes has been overlooked despite the risks they pose to the community.
