Karachi: Mayor Karachi, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, has announced a strategic initiative to accelerate development work equally across all districts of the city. In a recent meeting, he emphasized the priority given to launching additional development schemes in District Keamari to enhance the living conditions for its residents.
The mayor highlighted that the Pakistan People’s Party is actively collaborating with local government representatives from various political factions. This cooperation aims to develop a comprehensive strategy through mutual consultation, which is expected to address public issues more efficiently and improve the development process throughout Karachi.
These remarks were made during a meeting held on Thursday in Mayor Wahab’s office, focusing on development works in District Keamari. The meeting was attended by key figures including the Chairman of Manghopir Town, Haji Ali Nawaz Brohi, and local government representatives from Jamaat-e-Islami and PTI, alongside other elected members.
During the meeting, elected representatives outlined the challenges faced in their respective areas, stressing the urgency for effective solutions. Mayor Wahab assured attendees that District Keamari and Manghopir Town will receive priority attention in upcoming developmental schemes, with an emphasis on resolving local issues.
Mayor Wahab urged all elected representatives to put aside personal interests and work collectively for the city’s greater good. He reaffirmed the Pakistan People’s Party’s commitment to cooperate fully in this endeavor, inviting all stakeholders to participate actively in Karachi’s development.
