Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Mourns Loss of Director Tariq Siddiqui

Karachi: Tariq Siddiqui, Director of Contract Management and Fire Brigade at Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), passed away on Monday due to a cardiac arrest. A respected figure within KMC, Siddiqui’s death has elicited a profound response of grief and remembrance from colleagues and city officials alike.

According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, the funeral prayers for Siddiqui were held after Maghrib prayers at Saima Pride Mosque on Rashid Minhas Road, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, with his burial following at Azimpura Graveyard, Shah Faisal Colony. The ceremony was attended by Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab, Municipal Commissioner S.M. Afzal Zaidi, Financial Advisor Nayab Saeed, and several other directors and senior officials from the KMC.

Mayor Wahab and the attending city officials expressed their deep sorrow over Siddiqui’s sudden demise, extending their condolences to his family, particularly his son Usama. They remembered Siddiqui for his dedication to his duties and his role in enhancing the city’s services. A large number of colleagues, department heads, and employees from KMC, as well as relatives of the deceased, were present to pay their respects and offer condolences during the funeral.
