Karachi Mayor Opens Doors to Largest Trampoline Park at Safari Park

KARACHI: Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab inaugurated Pakistan’s largest trampoline park at Safari Park, emphasizing the city’s ongoing development and the Pakistan Peoples Party’s commitment to public service. The event highlighted efforts to enhance recreational spaces and provide affordable entertainment for families.

Speaking to media representatives, Mayor Wahab criticized the MQM for its past governance, attributing ongoing challenges in Karachi to their mismanagement. He urged the provincial government in Punjab to address farmers’ issues rather than engaging in criticism. He also challenged claims about receiving 300 billion rupees, demanding evidence from those making such allegations.

Mayor Wahab reiterated the commitment of the Pakistan Peoples Party to serve the people, citing Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s efforts during the floods. He noted that 2.1 million houses were built for flood victims, marking a significant achievement in public service.

The mayor spoke about the positive transformation of Safari Park, attributing its revival to the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation’s efforts. He noted that hundreds of families now visit the park on weekends, reflecting citizens’ trust in the administration’s dedication.

The new trampoline park, described as the most modern in the country, is part of broader initiatives to promote sports and recreation in Karachi. Mayor Wahab mentioned that while there are two other trampoline parks in the city, Safari Park’s facilities are of the highest standard and are available at affordable rates.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining parks as family-friendly spaces, free from undesirable activities, to ensure they remain recreational centers for families and children. The mayor also highlighted the ongoing cultural events, such as the Sufi music and qawwali event at Frere Hall, as part of efforts to revive the city’s vibrancy.

Mayor Wahab assured that the Pakistan Peoples Party’s leadership believes in action over words, with rapid completion of development projects across Karachi. Providing facilities for children remains a top priority, aligning with the party’s manifesto to serve the city with dedication.
