According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, Mayor Wahab directly responded to claims made by MQM leader Mustafa Kamal, accusing him of hypocrisy and mismanagement during his tenure. He detailed the negative impacts of the previous administrations, including increased violence and infrastructural neglect. The Mayor emphasized the PPP’s efforts in overcoming the legacy of those challenges, citing significant improvements in managing natural disasters like heavy rainfall and implementing crucial projects such as the K-IV water project and the redevelopment of essential healthcare facilities.
