Karachi, Karachi witnessed extensive security preparations as the Iranian President visited the city, leading to significant road closures but also showcasing the effectiveness of the local police force under the guidance of IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon.

According to Sindh Police, IG Memon commended the officers and personnel for their execution of a rigorous security strategy designed to ensure the safety of the high-profile visitor. This comprehensive plan involved multiple units within the Sindh Police, including the Special Branch, Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), and Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA), among others.

IG Memon highlighted the importance of the security measures, which were necessary to accommodate the Iranian President’s visit. He expressed gratitude towards the citizens of Karachi for their patience and cooperation during the road closures and security checks that accompanied the visit.

The police chief also acknowledged the contributions of the Rangers Sindh and other law enforcement agencies in implementing the security measures, emphasizing the collaborative effort required to maintain safety and order during such significant events.
