Karachi Governor’s House Hosts Business Proposal Interviews Under New Employment Scheme


Karachi, In an innovative move to boost local entrepreneurship and job creation, the Governor’s House in Karachi hosted a special event centered on an employment scheme where business proposals were reviewed and interviews conducted with the proponents. This initiative is part of a broader effort to stimulate economic activity and support the local business community.



According to Sindh Governor House, the event saw several business proposals being approved immediately, highlighting the proactive approach the administration is taking towards fostering a supportive environment for new ventures. The ceremony was not just about business; it also included gestures of goodwill, such as awarding an iPhone 15 to the oldest journalist, the youngest student, and an elderly woman present at the event.



The Governor announced that billions of rupees would be allocated to support these business initiatives in collaboration with the local business community, emphasizing that these efforts are made for altruistic reasons. Notable proposals presented at the event included Kulsoom Fazal’s beauty parlor, Shahid Badr’s medical store, Rizwan Qureshi’s photography services, and several others ranging from tech solutions to educational centers.



Furthermore, the event was marked by immediate financial support to a woman entrepreneur who received Rs 1 lakh to register her business and the provision of an auto vehicle to aid a person with a leg disability, underlining the scheme’s comprehensive approach to addressing various community needs.
