Karachi, In a strategic move aimed at enhancing the financial and operational efficiency of the Karachi Development Authority (KDA), Director General Naveed Anwar conducted an emergency visit to the KDA Asphalt Plant located on Super Highway. The visit underscores a significant effort by the KDA to repair and reactivate its heavy machinery, which has been inactive, to bolster the city’s construction and development projects.
According to Karachi Development Authority, DG Naveed Anwar emphasized the urgency of making the heavy machinery at the asphalt plant operational. The objective is to empower KDA officers and employees to utilize these resources effectively, thereby contributing to the financial stability of the institution. During the visit, officials briefed DG Anwar on the potential financial benefits of fully restoring the KDA asphalt plant. They highlighted the plant’s pivotal role in the past construction and development efforts within Karachi and suggested that its revitalization could significantly increase the agency’s income.
DG Anwar stressed the importance of focusing on the development of Karachi and the well-being of its citizens.
