Karachi Deputy Mayor Discusses Infrastructure and Religious Events Ahead of Eid Milad-un-Nabi


Karachi: Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad announced plans to enhance the city’s infrastructure and routes for the upcoming Eid Milad-un-Nabi procession in Rabi-ul-Awwal. The deputy mayor met with leading religious figures to discuss improvements and community involvement in religious observances.



According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, during visits to Jamia Naeemia Dastagir and Memon Masjid Muslehuddin Garden, Deputy Mayor Murad interacted with prominent religious scholar Mufti Muneebur Rahman and Ameer Allama Syed Shah Abdul Haq Qadri of Jamaat Ahlesunnat Pakistan Karachi. The discussions emphasized local government support for the religious festivities and infrastructure improvements post recent rain damages.



Mufti Muneeb al-Rahman stressed the importance of following the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and fostering national unity. The New Memon Masjid will serve as the starting point for a procession, culminating in the Milad Mustafa Conference at Nishtar Park on the twelfth of Rabi’ul Awwal, where scholars will address the attendees.



Additionally, the deputy mayor visited Dar-ul-Sukun on Kashmir Road, praised for its service to special children and individuals. He highlighted the societal role in supporting such institutions through philanthropy.
